We find it hard to put into words our appreciation for Manon. She is an exceptional friend first and a phenomenal breeder second. How she managed to choose the dog we needed in our life we will never know. Louie exceeds our expectations and we cannot imagine life without him. 5 years in and we continue to remark on how perfect he is for us. Manon has a magic way about her when it comes to placing her pups. The care and dedication she shows is unmatched. We are sure that every one of the lucky families who have a MapleMyst pup can confirm the feeling.

We are forever grateful for Manon and the love she pours into her dogs. We consider ourselves to be extremely fortunate to have our MapleMyst dog, Timber. When he joined our pack we became lifelong members of the MapleMyst family. Manon’s kindness and support over the years has allowed us to solidify our love and dedication to the Finnish Lapphund breed and we are unbelievably thankful!

Aren’t all dog breeders supportive, encouraging, breed cheerleaders who are there for you throughout your pup’s life? With Manon it’s a resounding YES! You know you’re family when you reach out to her late at night with questions that only first time dog parents ask and she answers the same night... and then follows up until all is well. Our pups Briscoe and Olivia are now 6 and 4 and we are so happy we met Manon and were welcomed into the Maple Myst family.

MapleMyst is where our beloved Koli came from, and we couldn’t have asked for a better start to our journey with this amazing breed. Manon—known affectionately as “DogMa”—has become like family, always available to answer questions and cheer on her extended dog family. Her passion, care, and lifelong commitment to her pups are truly special. We are forever grateful to be part of the MapleMyst community.

Since day one we have been well taken care of and are still to this day. Manon made sure to match us with the best girl we could ever hope for and she did wonders. She is always available when we have a question or need something and we have become great friends along the way!Our next Lappy will definitely be from her kennel.

Manon isn’t just our breeder—she’s family. Leto has a special bond with her, and Ivy has adored her since the day she was born at MapleMyst. The love and care she gives her dogs is truly one of a kind. Not only does she raise healthy, happy pups, she’s created a whole community of families who stay connected and supported. We feel so lucky to be part of her pack!

I am privileged to be the proud owner of Champagne “Champ”, our best dog ever. I cannot say enough about how much I appreciate Manon’s care in breeding and ensuring her Lapphunds are healthy and fine representatives of the breed. Champ came to us well socialized and Manon took care to select the right pup for our home. What a clever, healthy, family loving companion! We have never regretted the choice. Thank you!

Fell in love with this breed nine years ago, when I visited Manon and Mysti. After putting myself on the waiting list, I was blessed with the arrival of my wonderful, handsome boy Luka. Caught Lapponius Collectivus and our family now has four with the additions of Nikklas, Cello and Luna. Manon, and Maple Myst Finnish Lapphunds breed and nurture their litters in a warm, loving, caring home environment. Their meticulous breeding program ensures the litters have the highest probability of being healthy, happy, and well dispositioned... a credit to the breed. Wonderful kennel and a breeder who has contributed significantly to the development of the Lappy breed in Canada.

I spent a lot of time researching the right breed for my lifestyle and fell in love with the Finnish Lapphund—then I found Manon at Maple Myst. From the start, her love and care for her dogs was obvious. She made sure I was the right fit, and I’ve felt part of the Maple Myst family ever since. My first pup, Maverick, came from mama Mysti’s first litter, and three years later we added Moxie to our home. Manon’s support over the last 10 years has been incredible—she’s always there with honest advice and truly cares about every dog she raises. I’m so grateful to be part of this amazing community!
